Pre-order ‘Walk this Way’ an exhibition catalogue drawing together work from three major walking art works made over the last 20 years;
walkwalkwalk: an archaeology of the familiar and forgotten (made collaboratively with Gail Burton and Serena Korda), was a live artwork that unfolded between 2004 and 2010, built around a regular night walk through the streets of Whitechapel and Bethnal Green.
Perambulator (2012-2023) explored the new-parenting obstacles of pram walking, unfolding in collaboration with the artist’s children, and parent/carer participants in a series of locations from Huntly in Scotland, to New York City, to London’s East End.
East End Jam, an ongoing urban foraging artwork, celebrates the unexpected fruitfulness of the urban environment activated through shared walks and jam-making workshops, as well as ‘jamborees’ – public feasts of jam.
